The goal of The Parklands of Floyds Fork is to operate and maintain a world-class park system that enhances quality of life and helps our community and economy grow in ways that are healthful, sustainable, and enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities, now and one hundred years from now.

About This Cause

The Parklands of Floyds Fork is one of the largest and most ambitious urban parks in the nation. It encompasses over 4,000 acres and features four major parks which are linked by a world-class trail system tracing Floyds Fork, a classic Kentucky stream. In addition to 22 miles of water trail, and 46 miles of hiking and biking trails, The Parklands has playgrounds, spraygrounds, and rental facilities with stunning views for any occasion. The Parklands works to preserves native plants and wildlife as well as improving air and water quality. As a learning center for all ages, The Parklands Outdoor Classroom hosts tens of thousands of learners each year, strengthening their connection to the natural world. This safe, clean, fun and beautiful community asset is accessible 365 days a year free of charge because of the support of our donors.
