Womenade of Greater Squamscott provides short term financial assistance to families in the NH seacoast area when other resources are not readily available.
About This Cause
Womenade of Greater Squamscott (WOGS) provides short term financial assistance to local NH seacoast area families when other resources are not readily available. Expenses such as heat, rent, medical & dental, child care, prescriptions, food, gas & car repairs, and many other necessary living expenses are paid directly to the vendor that is due the funds, never to the individual who is being helped. We do this as anonymously as possible and with the help of community persons such as school nurses, clergy, hospice organizations, town administrators, and doctor's offices. WOGS began in 2005 and has helped hundreds of families with over $400,000 in living expenses to date.
