CENTER FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN

San Francisco, California, 94104 United States

Mission Statement

The Center for Architecture + Design inspires and educates the public through celebrating architecture and design. Our vision of enriching the community and enabling positive change informs this project by giving Indigenous voices a place within architecture and design.

About This Cause

The Center engages, educates, and inspires the general public about how design can improve a community. Our signature programs include the Architecture + the City Festival, design mixers, exhibitions, film and author series, tours, and more, all in partnership with other Bay Area nonprofits and industry partners who believe design matters to make a community healthier, livable, and equitable. The Center is located at street level in the historic Hallidie Building in downtown San Francisco. Visitors and walkers-by are welcome to stop by our coffee shop, attend a lecture, view the current gallery exhibition, and meet like-minded individuals.
