Mission Statement
AFS volunteers support SESOBEL, a school for disabled and autistic children in Lebanon. SESOBEL believes that each child is special and works to integrate its children into society while providing emotional support to their families.
About This Cause
AFS strives to provide financial support for SESOBEL. If a donor chooses they can sponsor an individual child for $1200 a year. Otherwise donations go to providing teachers, therapists, busing, wheelchairs, etc. needed to run SESOBEL's many programs. SESOBEL also provides in-house job opportunities for their older youth through sheltered workshops. In addition, AFS helps with English editing, sends supplies, and helps provide SESOBEL with professional contacts in the United States.
