Mission Statement
Possible works to achieve the vision of everyone everywhere having access to high-quality healthcare. In pursuit of this vision, Possible focuses on building the evidence-base needed to address gaps in the equity, quality, and accessibility of healthcare in Nepal.
About This Cause
Possible envisions a world where everyone, everywhere has access to high-quality health care rooted in evidence, inclusion, and equity. To achieve this we (1) conduct rigorous and collaborative research and innovation to address evidence, implementation, and policy gaps in the equity, quality, and accessibility of healthcare (2)channel resources to deliver life-saving healthcare in Nepal Possible strongly believes in institutionalizing evidence, equity and inclusion in its structures, policies and work. To that end, Possible collaborates with government and non-government partners including community-based organizations, public and private sector academic institutions and research organizations to leverage research and evidence to inform and implement innovative solutions to healthcare challenges. In collaboration with its partners in the US and Nepal, Possible leverages its long history of both direct care delivery and healthcare research, to provide technical assistance as well as develop and test novel interventions across various health categories (e.g., reproductive health, mental health) and at various systems of care (e.g., home-based, clinical-based, and hospital-based). Our innovation research endeavors and partnerships aim to address challenges in context and from stated or established needs rather than for the novelty of research. Possible’s expertise is in working closely with community-based organizations to help develop a robust research and innovation infrastructure to create generalizable knowledge that can impact care in other low-resource settings.
