About This Cause
The organisation has been actively working towards protecting Indian wildlife for over 30 years. Wildlife SOS has sanctuaries in India for elephants, bears and leopards that cannot be released into the wild. Most of the animals that live at our sanctuaries are rescued from a life of abusive captivity. They experience life without chains and punishment for the first time since they were captured from the wild. With our 24 hour rescue hotline, we also rescue animals in distress and release them back into the wild whenever feasible. We welcome visitors and volunteers at the sanctuaries in India. We also have offices in the UK and USA. Your support means freedom and a better future for wildlife.
