Mission Statement
Covenant Soup Kitchen has been in operation since 1981, serving approximately 600,000 meals per year through the Soup Kitchen and the Emergency Food Pantry. We open our doors to our guests 7 days per week, providing a light breakfast and nutritious lunch daily and dinner Friday and now Saturday evenings. Our guest-choice Community Food Pantry Cooperative is open daily and provides enough food to enable guests prepare three meals per day for each family member for five days. We strive to meet other basic needs through our Care and Advocacy program which provides assistance with completing paperwork for employment, housing and benefits, translation assistance, personal care/hygiene items, laundry vouchers, a secure mailing address for guests, basic first aid as well as case management assistance and referrals to other agencies as appropriate.

Covenant Soup Kitchen Mission Statement Realizing that people can be impoverished physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially, Covenant Soup Kitchen provides food and access to basic services in an environment of care, love, support and safety to those individuals and families from the greater Windham community who come through our doors. We rely on the generosity of the community and its faith to help us carry out this mission.
