Mission Statement
Nepal Orphans Home cares for children in Nepal who are orphaned, abandoned or not supported by parents; providing shelter, clothing education and health care for about 140 children.
About This Cause
Nepal Orphans Home attends to the total welfare of children in Nepal who are orphaned, abandoned or not supported by their parents. The organization provides for the children's basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing, as well as schooling and health care, and administers to their emotional needs with love and compassion. It allows children to grow up in a nurturing environment. Our mission is not just to rescue children from abject poverty but to enable them to develop and realize their potentials. We have developed a vocational training center so that our children can learn trades as they transition from school to adulthood. Others who qualify go on to higher education. The organization supports remote village schools for lowest caste children, as well and paying school fees for several local families' children. Hot lunches are prepared by our staff for the community and school children to assure that local citizens will receive a daily nutritional meal.
