Mission Statement
The primary activity of Northwest Academy of Sciences is to operate a School of Mathematics and other Sciences for children whose educational needs are not served at other schools in the community.
About This Cause
The specific objectives and purposes of Northwest Academy of Sciences shall be: - to establish a school of mathematics and other sciences that provides high quality education to the students who are qualified and willing to receive it; - to present formal instruction, maintain a regularly enrolled student body, an established curriculum, a regular faculty, and a place to carry on educational activities; - to conduct enrichment programs in arts and sciences; - to award scholarships to qualified students for pursuing further education in mathematics and other arts and sciences; - to encourage students to take part in mathematical and scientific competitions and to provide academic and financial assistance to them for this purpose; - to have the normal function, operations, programs, and pursuits incidental to a fully recognized and operational nonprofit center of learning and education; - to establish other programs that further educational goals, as may be approved from time to time by the board of directors;
