About This Cause

Red Lake Rosie's Rescue provides 6 neuter/spay clinics in 2016 on the Red Lake and White Earth Reservations of northern Minnesota to address overpopulation of companion animals. Red Lake Rosie's also provides a shelter for homeless, unwanted and injured animals and transfers them to shelters and rescues statewide and regionally for adoption. Humane Education is provided to clinic clients and to children in the Red Lake Elementary School. A food shelf provides basic food for those animals who have no other source of food. Major medical and neuter/spay costs are the main expenses. 88% of our budget is spent on direct animal care. 92% of our labor is volunteer.
