About This Cause
Lucy's Love Bus was founded by an 11-year-old girl named Lucy Grogan, during her own battle against cancer. Lucy loved looking after the younger cancer patients in the hospital, and grew to believe that providing comfort and quality of life for sick kids is just as important as finding cures. She started Lucy's Love Bus from her hospital bed in January of 2006, so that she could provide comfort and quality of life to children who are coping with cancer and life threatening illness. Lucy's Love Bus provides funding and referrals so that children can have access to free integrative therapies such as massage, yoga, meditation, art/music therapy and therapeutic horseback riding. Lucy believed in providing comfort...until a cure!
