Mission Statement
The mission of Mount Vernon Music is to provide and develop the appreciation for high-quality performance of live music in East Texas.
About This Cause
Since 2006, Mount Vernon Music Association, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has been bringing outstanding performances of classical, jazz and other chamber music to twenty-five communities throughout East Texas, including outreach programs for children in schools and to residents of long-term care facilities. MVM's scholarship program provides financial help to aspiring young musicians.
