Mission Statement
Colleges That Change Lives, Inc. (CTCL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process. We support the goal of every student finding a college that develops a lifelong love of learning and provides the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life beyond college.
About This Cause
We have 44 member colleges and universities, all small, liberal arts schools with very residential communities. Each school delivers a quality liberal arts education in a supportive and challenging educational community, and is is truly thoughtful in its admission process. We believe the college search is about the student -- finding a good fit -- and not about rankings and the perceived extra value of name-brand colleges. Your donation would support our CTCL Scholarship, a $1,500 per year ($6,000 maximum) award given to students who enroll at CTCL-member institutions and/or transportation for students, families, and counselors who want to attend the nearly two dozen information sessions and college fairs we present across the United States every spring and summer.
