Mission Statement
The Mind Trust invests in public education to transform lives in neighborhoods across Indianapolis. We work toward a day when race and income are no longer predictors of life outcomes.
About This Cause
Since The Mind Trust launched in 2006, it has supported the launch of 38 schools that are serving 12,174 students and 14 nonprofit organizations. The Mind Trust’s High Quality Schools Plan—an ambitious plan to more than double the number of students attending a high-quality school within Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) boundaries by 2023—launched in 2016 and focuses on growing high quality schools; investing in world-class talent and supporting schools to succeed; and engaging the community and advancing policy.
