Mission Statement
The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation assists adult cancer patients who meet eligibility requirements and need assistance with their essential living expenses.
About This Cause
No one should have to choose between paying their rent or paying their treatment for cancer. The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation was established to assist individuals who are undergoing treatment for cancer, live in Florida, are within 200% of the national poverty guidelines and need assistance paying their essential, non-medical bills. By helping with expenses such as rent or mortgage, car payment, auto insurance, electricity, and/or utilities, patients are able to focus on their health rather than worrying about overdue bills. All of the Foundation's overhead expenses are paid by Florida Cancer Specialists physicians, including foundation staff salaries. This means that 100% of every donation goes directly to those served by the Foundation. All money stays local to help individuals with cancer in communities throughout Florida.
