About This Cause
Objectives in Ecuador 1. To coordinate service projects and volunteer ventures that guide visitors in helping Ecuadorian communities achieve their goals. 2. To provide educational scholarships at the secondary and university level for qualified rural Ecuadorians with financial need. 3. To support the local systems in providing primary health care to rural villages in the Otavalo Canton. 4. To support the schools of the Otavalo Canton with teachers, school gardens, and educational activities to benefit the children. 5. To support the efforts that communities and community organizations undertake to care for the environment. 6. To link education and service organizations in the USA with people in Ecuador to increase cross cultural understanding via zoom meetings based on topics of mutual interest. To provide resources and training for projects that address community needs such as water resources, food security, and natural resource conservation. 3. To increase the educational and income-generating opportunities for members of Dogon communities. 4. To link education and service organizations in the USA with people in Mali to increase cross cultural understanding via zoom meetings based on topics of mutual interest.
