Mission Statement
A community advocacy group for the South Orange Public Library in South Orange, New Jersey. We support, add to and fund various ideas and projects that enhance the public library experience in our town. FOSOPL was founded in 2006.
About This Cause
We are a charitable organization that supports the South Orange Public Library by sponsoring activities and programs, supporting the library's physical needs, helping preserve historic local documents, purchasing materials for library programs, and generally raising community awareness of the SOPL. We raise money primarily through annual donations and our book and jewelry sales.
