Mission Statement
Through artistic achievement, education, and engagement, the Queen City Performing Arts and its constituent ensembles, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte, the Women's Chorus of Charlotte, and ActOUT Theater Company endeavors to create a society which values and respects its LGBTQ+ members.
About This Cause
Queen City Performing Arts offers TICKETED CONCERTS which help create and showcase the valuable and unique LGBTQ culture. Commissions are a vital part of helping to create our culture. We also engage in extensive COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT to take our message beyond the concert hall in order to change hearts and minds. Performing and educating, and above all discussing, are critical to creating change. Finally, COLLABORATION underlies everything we do.
