Mission Statement
At Hooves & Paws Rescue of the Heartland we rehabilitate abused, starved, neglected or unwanted horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies. If possible, following rehabilitation, we place such animals in loving homes. If for any reason an animal cannot be placed, the animal will live it's life out at our rescue facility in a safe, loving environment.
About This Cause
Hooves & Paws Rescue of the Heartland is proud to be one of the largest No-Kill rescues and shelters for horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies in Iowa and Nebraska. With your help and support, we are able to provide our rescued horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies with a loving place to call home for a month, a year or perhaps a lifetime. You can help us make a difference today in the life of a needy horse, donkey, mule, dog or puppy with your donation. Help us continue the work we do saving those “who have no voice of their own”.
