About This Cause
MAWHCC supports its members pursuing education beyond a high school diploma. All members of at least one year with a minimum 2.0 cumulative high school GPA are eligible to apply for MAWHCC scholarship funds. Scholarships are available for all levels of post secondary education, from vocational certification through graduate or professional licensure programs. Scholarship amounts will vary based on the number of applicants and availability of funds; up to 60% of fund balance may be used in any one calendar year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but must be received no later than 30 days prior to the start of the class or program. Additionally, MAWHCC supports members sending their children entering 6th grade to attend the week long Summer Explorations program in Hawaii at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus. MAWHCC will reimburse parents the application fee upon return from attending the program.
