About This Cause
HHCharities was incorporated in September 2006 and received our nonprofit status in 2008. Our organization began because of the overwhelming and dire needs of the people in Africa. We increased our efforts in the Dallas community to provide English as a Second Language, Civics/Naturalization interview training and communications to the Immigrants and Refugees who are earnestly making efforts to integrate into the culture of the Americans. We are a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that focuses on three (3) Programs: 1-John H. and Marie Parrish Medical Clinic in Fort Portal Uganda; 2-Ugandan Orphans Tuition and Support Program; and 3-Cultural Behavior Life Skills Program for Immigrants, Refugees and Interested Candidates. Our mission includes helping to lift others up by reaching down and giving them a hand to lift them up and bring hope into their lives.
