Mission Statement
Angels of the Amazon provides for the basic humanitarian needs of people living in the Tahuayo River basin, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
About This Cause
Angels of the Amazon works to assist the people living in the Tahuayo River basin in the upper Amazon rainforest of Peru. It has constructed, staffs and supports the clinic in Esperanza Village, provides for medical care in hospitals in the cities of Iquitos and Lima for medical conditions which cannot be treated at the clinic, is building a high school in El Chino Village for the children of the Tahuayo River basin, has built a women's center and assists in many other educational, health and economic ventures.
