About This Cause

Mahindra Foundation was established in 2007 with the vision to “transform lives through education”. The objective of the foundation is to seek global support for the education of under-privileged girl children in India. The Mahindra Foundation believes that education is the single most powerful intervention for transforming lives. For thousands of disadvantaged girls in India, education is the only weapon that will open the doors to provide them with equal opportunity, so that they can grow, learn and realize their own potential. Knowledge and skills impact not only earning, but also add to their self-esteem. By bringing quality education to these girls, Mahindra Foundation helps build a more just and connected society. The Mahindra Foundation, USA is a registered Delaware non-profit corporation with its registered office at 1000 West Street, 17th floor, The Brandywine Building, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware - 19801. The foundation is a Section 501 (c) (3) organization under the US Internal Revenue Code and all donations are therefore tax deductible. To achieve its objectives, the Foundation works together with the K. C. Mahindra Education Trust and the Naandi Foundation in India, to support the education of underprivileged girls through Project Nanhi Kali.
