About This Cause
Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies is a nonprofit specialty healthcare clinic group with seven locations in Oregon providing pediatric occupational therapy, pediatric physical therapy, pediatric speech therapy, pediatric development and behavioral support, and offers mental health services for all ages. Neuro accepts most insurances and never caps our Medicaid/OHP clients, resulting in 55% of our current client families on OHP. This fact, along with our mission to serve all, is the primary driver and reason for our fundraising efforts. The most common diagnoses we see include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, Hypotonia & Torticollis, Down Syndrome, Feeding & Oral motor difficulties, Auditory & Visual Processing issues, and Depression & Anxiety. Since up to 75% of our clients see multiple Neuro providers to get the care they need, access to our unique blend of therapies is vitally important--both financially and in terms of location. Many Neuro clinics are strategically located on rural/urban divides to ensure families with limited options can find the care they need and not have to drive 100s of miles. We offer more than 3500 therapeutic hours monthly for children and families through our clinics located in Oregon City, NE Portland, Clackamas, Hillsboro, Medford, McMinnville, and Wilsonville. Neuro has been serving the community for over 39 years and we are committed to providing high quality outpatient therapy and developmental services to address the unique needs of children, adolescents, individuals, and families.
