Mission Statement
Protect Our Winters (POW) helps passionate outdoor people protect the places we live and experiences we love from climate change. We are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations.
About This Cause
Protect Our Winters was founded in 2007 by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones after seeing the impacts of climate change first-hand. POW is on a mission to make the Outdoor State - the 168 million people across the country who identify as outdoor enthusiasts - the most influential voice for climate in the United States.
