About This Cause
Alameda Science & Technology is an early college high school founded by the Melinda Gates Foundation. ASTI is located on the College of Alameda Campus to allow high school students easy access to college courses. ASTI provides a rigorous high school program to prepare students for early access to college courses. Juniors and Seniors spend 30% to 50% of their day taking college courses. ASTI PTSA's board is comprised of ASTI parents, teachers and students. The purpose of the ASTI PTSA is to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators of the ASTI community. The ASTI PTSA provides leadership opportunities for ASTI students, funding for teacher seminars, campus improvement, technology needs and ASTI community events.
