Mission Statement
Camp Cocker Rescue saves homeless cocker spaniels in need from both American shelters as well as internationally. We believe that compassion has no borders! Save a dog, change the world.
About This Cause
Camp Cocker Rescue focuses on rescuing cocker spaniels from high kill shelters in Southern California as well as international homeless cocker spaniels in need. Many of the dogs we rescue are medical needs dogs that the other larger rescue groups are passing on. Although we rescue fewer in number, we spend more per dog on medical and veterinary expenses. We take great pride not only in thoroughly rehabbing a dog medically, but putting an equal amount of effort into matching up the right dog to the right adopters. We want our dogs to find the best match of a home, while at the same time, we want our adopters to be happy that we've selected the best choice of dog for their lifestyle. We are very small and don't have many large donations, but we make up for it by having a lot of small donors that believe in our mission. Save a dog, change the world!
