Mission Statement
Wildlife Media is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to telling inspiring and impactful stories about wildlife and conservation. We support on-the-ground efforts of those who are making a real difference as well as supporting emerging and established individuals in the field, including scientists, filmmakers, and conservationists.
About This Cause
Wildlife Media is a small organization with big reach. It’s principal people are award winning conservationists and storytellers Philip Hamilton and Chris Morgan. Between them they focus upon the oceans and on the land, and the incredible wildlife that urgently needs our attention. Through their films, podcasts, and campaigns, they bring to life our amazing planet with urgency, emotion, and heart. And they invite others to join them, because the clock is ticking for people and planet. Wildlife Media was established in 2007 as a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization to produce the feature length documentary BEARTREK. The film and campaign highlighted the journey of bear expert Chris Morgan as he traveled to Alaska, Peru, Canada, and Borneo to document four bear species and the biologists racing to save them. The campaign gave over $250,000 in cash and kind to the projects featured in the film. It’s in the spirit of BEARTREK that the new Wildlife Media has been born. We are all about collaboration, openness, and doing the right thing for people and planet. We invite you to be in touch, and support our work if you are able to.
