Mission Statement
The mission of Long Beach Island Community Center, Inc. is to be a community focal point offering a wide variety of services and programs aimed at meeting the needs of residents of Ocean County, NJ, regardless of their individual backgrounds. The Center provides services to the community, including recreation, counseling, children's services, education and career services, senior services and family assistance.
About This Cause
Founded in 1972, St. Francis Community Center offers a wide variety of services and programs aimed at meeting the needs of residents of Ocean County, regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, religious affiliation, handicapping condition or socioeconomic status. Services offered include: Preschool; Senior Center; Aquatic Center; Counseling Center; Family Support Services, Youth Program; Educational Support Services; Recreation Program; Volunteer Program and many Special Events. The Center’s facilities include: A regulation gymnasium; competition-size indoor pool; and two heated outdoor pools.
