Mission Statement
The Flanders Fire Company No. 1 has the responsibility to respond to fire and EMS emergencies within Mt. Olive Township, Flanders and the surrounding communities. The Company has the duty to maintain all the emergency vehicles and all the equipment used to protect the lives, the property of Flanders residents, those passing through as well as those who live in surrounding towns. The Fire Company is also responsible for attaining the best possible equipment and the continuous training of our volunteer members-- both for their safety and the safety of all whom we protect.
About This Cause
The Flanders Fire Company No. 1 is celebrating our 100th Anniversary. We have the responsibility to respond to fire and EMS emergencies within Mt. Olive Township, Flanders and the surrounding communities. The Company has the duty to maintain all the emergency vehicles and all the equipment used to protect the lives, the property of Flanders residents, those passing through, as well as those who live in surrounding towns. The Fire Company is also responsible for attaining the best possible equipment and the continuous training of our volunteer members-- both for their safety and the safety of all whom we protect. We offer our smoke and safety trailer to groups to help teach children and adults how to prevent fires and what to do and how to get out if there is a fire. We have updated our building to become a township warming center in case of an emergency in town.
