Mission Statement
Ronald McDonald House of SNJ provides a home-away-from-home to families of seriously ill and injured children who are being treated a nearby hospitals, and operates Ronald House Family Rooms within pediatric units of hospitals across Southern New Jersey.
About This Cause
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a safe haven for up to 22 families per night. Each family is allowed one bedroom that sleeps an average of 4 people, and has its own private bathroom. The common areas include a living room, family room, TV lounges, computer room, play areas, dining room, a kitchen and laundry rooms. Our home is for families whose children are receiving medical care at area hospitals. Occupancy is not based on economic status, but rather the distance the family lives from the hospital and the severity of the child's illness.
