Mission Statement
Our Mission is to create opportunities for deserving, economically challenged women and children of India by partnering with communities, philanthropists and local charitable organizations. Such opportunities include developing and providing quality education, affordable healthcare and supporting skill development to improve the quality of life in rural India. We believe that the world is interconnected and it is our social responsibility to help one another, particularly those who are at the bottom of the ladder. This requires innovation, creativity and an open space for people to learn and share. Our vision is to help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life in rural India one family at a time.
About This Cause
Our programs have ongoing importance because they've helped so many in the past, and can be successfully replicated in other parts of India or the world. We exercise a grassroots approach by partnering with highly vetted NGOs working on the ground, ensuring the program will become self-sufficient and ultimately led by locals. Our Signature Programs in education, healthcare, women empowerment and sanitation-hygiene include: E2G: Educate to Graduate - College education to brilliant but economically challenged students. E2S: Educate to Success - High school education to brilliant but economically challenged students. H2U: Healthcare to Unreached - comprehensive basic healthcare with an emphasis on illness prevention, hygiene awareness, rehabilitation, and treatment. WE: Women Empowerment - Provide space to those experiencing violence, discrimination, injustice, and consequent emotional, mental distress so they can heal and take control of their lives.
