About This Cause
Our Senior Center has 1500 members with several hundred served on a monthly basis. Annually, 2000 total individuals are served with programs, service, activities, and referrals. However, no one is turned away for lack of ability to pay ...We provide free transportation to our lunches, food pantries within the area and to grocery stores, and medical & dental appointments. In addition, we offer social and recreational programs such as: Table games (cars, checkers, Mahjong, etc.), a computer lab for our seniors to learn new computer skills and learn to access social media, billiard games, knitting and crochet classes, monthly recreational outings and weekend trips, social dances, dinners, and movies, canvas painting classes, adult coloring classes, monthly meet at a local restaurant called the Lunch Bunch, etc. Our objective is to keep our Center operating and serving our community seniors with excellent, accessible, and well coordinated services and activities.
