Mission Statement
The Alice Paul Institute educates the public about the life and work of suffragist Alice Paul and uses Paulsdale, her Mt. Laurel NJ home and a National Historic Landmark, as a leadership development center for women and girls. Programs for middle and high school girls explore the rich tradition of women leaders and expose them to the skills they need to develop to join that continuum.
About This Cause
The Alice Paul Institute is a non-profit organization that celebrates women's history and trains the next generation with leadership development workshops, seminars and programs in schools throughout New Jersey and on-site at Paulsdale, a National Historic Landmark in Mt. Laurel NJ and the home of American suffrage heroine, Alice Stokes Paul. Paulsdale is one of the few National Historic Landmarks that celebrates the life and accomplishments of a woman.
