Mission Statement

The Mission of Directions in Independent Living is to help those with disabilities live more independent lives.

About This Cause

We are an independent living center providing services to people with all disabilities from birth through the full life span. We provide services through Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, ACCES-VR, Office of Mental Health, Office for the Aging, as well as others. Programs available include Social Security benefits advisement for youth and adult, rep payee services, mental health advocacy, care coordination through HHUNY and CHHUNY and several more programs.
