Mission Statement
The Albanian-American Islamic & Cultural Center "Hasan Prishtina" is a center of the Albanian community, whose members are dedicated to the advancement of all aspects of Muslim Albanian life and the preservation of the Albanian identity among its members, focusing on cultivating of language and national traditions and their transmission to the new generation. The center offers a mosque, a place of gathering and education, and seeks to include and accept all compatriots in the diaspora who want to preserve their Albanian identity and practice the Islamic religion, developing national, religious, cultural-artistic, social connections and activities, sports, and others, in our community. The center devotes special attention to the inspiration and education of the young generation to remove it from destructive influences such as drugs, alcohol, gambling, immorality, criminality and other negative elements.
