Mission Statement
Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP) is committed to ensuring that every young person in the state has access to quality mentoring relationships, regardless of who they are or where they live. MMP is a statewide organization that drives critical resources to a network of more than 370 mentoring and youth-serving organizations, representing more than 50,000 young people from Boston to Pittsfield. We work with mentoring and youth development programs, schools, and work and career readiness programs, including programs that serve youth involved in the criminal justice system. We believe that all adults connecting to young people should be using evidence-based practices, that relationships should be developed and nurtured through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens, and that young peoples’ voice and choice are valued and heard.
