To facilitate the social, emotional, and physical well being of independent senior citizens by providing access to community resources and providing services and activities that maintain senior citizens' independence and wellness.
About This Cause
Twin Valley Senior Center (TVSC) is a Vermont based non-profit organization whose goal is to help seniors living in the central Vermont area to stay independent and healthy. It offers services to seniors in six towns, helping the local elderly community who are often dealing with physical health, hunger, isolation and depression issues. The center runs a variety of social, health, and financial programs including exercise classes, community meals, tax preparation assistance, foot clinics, cook outs, discussion groups, lawn sales and Meals On Wheels deliveries for people who have difficulty preparing their own meals.
