Mission Statement
Preschool Advantage was founded in 1995 in recognition of the importance of early childhood education. Preschool Advantage will provide financial support for preschool education for three and four year old children of families in need in Morris County and the surrounding areas. Preschool Advantage works together with 28 partner preschools to reserve spaces for the children based on their geographic location.
About This Cause
The high cost of a quality preschool program is often an insurmountable barrier for low-income families in our community without the help of Preschool Advantage. It is the children of these hardworking families who are most at risk of suffering and falling behind before they really get started in life. Children from economically disadvantaged families start their academic careers with fewer basic skills including language, pre-reading, basic math, and interpersonal relations.
