Mission Statement
The PTA is dedicated to education, health, safety and well-being for all children. The mission is three-fold: 1. To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; 2. To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and 3. To encourage parent and public involvement in public schools. Description The Village School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Schools is an active private nonprofit volunteer organization where parents and teachers work together to provide educational, fun, and enriching programs for children and their families. We are a branch of New Jersey PTA and National PTA. All parents are encouraged to become actively involved in joining the PTA and are welcome to attend meetings.
About This Cause
Purposes To Promote The Welfare Of Children & Youth In The Home, School, Community, & Place of Worship To Raise The Standard Of Home-Life To Bring Into Closer Relation The Home & The School, That Parents & Teachers May Cooperate Intelligently In The Education Of Children & Youth To Develop, Between Educators & The General Public, Such United Efforts As Will Secure For All Children & Youth The Highest Advantages In Physical, Mental, Social & Spiritual Education.
