Mission Statement
The Holiday Express mission is to deliver music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year.
About This Cause
Founded in 1993 by Tim McLoone, Holiday Express entertains, feeds, and brings joyful, highly energized musical performances and interactive holiday parties to society’s forgotten pockets of humanity - the homeless, the isolated elderly, the mentally ill, the physically disabled, people estranged from their families, critically ill children and many others who live challenging lives in challenging environments. From early November through Christmas Eve, more than 1,500 volunteers, 150 of which are professional musicians, pack thousands of gift bags and hit the road to make a difference in the lives of more than 25,000 special individuals at 100 under-served locations each year, delivering the gift of human kindness to those who need it most.
