The NAGARATHAR SANGAM OF NORTH AMERICA ("NSNA") is a non-profit, charitable, non-political, tax-exempt community-based organization that was founded in 1976 to foster cohesive understanding and cooperation between Nagarathars in North America.
About This Cause
The NAGARATHAR SANGAM OF NORTH AMERICA ("NSNA") is a non-profit, charitable, non-political, tax-exempt community-based organization that was founded in 1976 to foster cohesive understanding and cooperation between Nagarathars in North America. The main objectives of this organization are to: Bring together Nagarathars in North America to realize the rich tradition and perpetuate the innate cultural heritage of the community Promote brotherhood and friendship among the community and focus on charitable, educational causes. Assist financially underprivileged Nagarathars around the world and support them through educational scholarships and assistance for marriages Cultivate, promote and foster exchange of ideas with the Nagarathar youth and motivate them to get actively involved to participate and support NSNA’s chosen causes and activities to enhance betterment of the community at large on a global basis To provide academic, cultural and intellectual interchanges with the Nagarathar community in other parts of the United States and abroad. Since its inception the organization has been able to uphold its objectives through its wide spectrum of activities. New initiatives recognize the long-standing generational growth of the Nagarathar community and serves to foster cross-cultural appreciation and understanding with other communities and organizations with similar objectives in North America. Contributions to NSNA are exempt from United States federal income tax under Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
