Mission Statement Roots & Wings provides young adults who age out of the foster care system in New Jersey with safe housing, education, counseling, and life skills in order to empower them toward self-sufficiency. Vision Statement Roots & Wings strives to be the leading organization serving all young adults in the state of New Jersey who age out of the foster care system. Roots & Wings will generate funding and develop partnerships from various sources to ensure those in the program will have safe housing, education, counseling, and life skills training necessary to achieve educational goals, secure jobs, access services, and experience the encouragement and guidance necessary to empower them toward self-sufficiency and successful assimilation into society.
