Mission Statement
The mission of the Alexander Dawson Foundation is to establish, operate and maintain an educational organization that will provide students with the highest quality education, nurture future leaders, prepare young adults to excel in college and society and develop self-respect, self-discipline and self-reliance of each student by stressing the value of hard work, personal responsibility and respect for authority.
About This Cause
Alexander Dawson Foundation is a Nevada charitable trust that built and operates two independent schools: The Alexander Dawson School, LLC, a K-12 independent school in Lafayette, Colorado and The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, LLC a Pre-K-8 independent school in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Foundation also supports the Dawson Summer Initiative (Colorado) and Dawson College Bound (Nevada); each consists of a summer program and a year-round mentoring program conducted on school campus. The programs provide enriching, intellectual opportunities for high-achieving, public middle school students at no cost to the participants.
