About This Cause

The Spring City Public Library is located in Spring City, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1910 under the direction of Elizabeth Rogers. The library moved to its current location in 1935. The building was expanded twice, before being demolished in 2013 so that a new library could be constructed--a project that had been in the works for over ten years. The new library building opened its doors to the public in June 2014. The new, state-of-the-art building features a community room and expansive spaces for studying, learning, and creating. The new space has allowed the library to expand its collections to better serve the communities of Spring City, East Vincent, and East Coventry as well as the rest of Chester County.
