About This Cause
Mental Health Partnerships (MHP) has been a tireless leader in providing advocacy, services, and training to individuals struggling with mental health and addiction challenges and their families for 70 years. MHP provides services through over 35 programs across Greater Philadelphia and we are leaders in peer support trainings and workshops at the local, state and national levels. Our approach is simple and effective – most of our work is provided by people in recovery with lived experience. MHP annually serves over 12,000 participants and family members through using a peer support model. Through this model, we demonstrate the power of combining self-determination and mutual support. There’s a greater chance for wellness and recovery in the context of an informed, caring community with family, friends and peers involved.
