About This Cause
The Boys & Girls Club of Chester has provided services to youth in Chester and the surrounding communities for 90 years. it began in 1929 as a way to decrease juvenile delinquency among young boys. In 1930, the Chester Boys Club was incorporated. The Club, as it is fondly known to many, continued to provide and expand activities for boys & girls in Chester. In 2010, the Boys & Girls Club of Chester moved to a brand new facility on 7th & Crosby streets where our services grew even more; we now offer scuba diving, basketball, tennis, computer/technology, gardening & nutrition, art, Drug Free education and coalition building, mentoring, all-inclusive summer camp, and much more. The Boys & Girls Club of Chester partners with area colleges and universities to provide additional mentoring, tutoring assistance, and social work skills to our youth and families.
