About This Cause
The Wyoming County United Way is a local, private, non-profit organization made up of a caring group of local volunteers who are deeply committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and families living in Wyoming County. Our purpose is to bring people and resources together to address the most urgent issues facing residents throughout Wyoming County. We accomplish this in several ways. Working closely with the partner agencies and community members to identify unmet needs in the community. Assisting partner agencies in meeting those needs in a cost effective and timely manner. Motivating members of the community to donate their time and money to help our member agencies meet their goals. Providing the community with a timely and accurate accounting of the money they have donated. Keeping our expenses and administrative costs to a minimum.
