Mission Statement
The mission of the TriCounty Active Adult Center is to enhance the well being of its members by providing services and activities that promote an independent and healthy life style. The TRAAC is a home-away-from-home for seniors, providing the support they need to remain independent.
About This Cause
The TriCounty Active Adult Center provides nearly 30 programs and services every day to keep older adults active physically and mentally. The TRAAC offers a wide variety of age-appropriate exercise and balance programs, many social and recreational opportunities, a free daily lunch cooked fresh on-site and served restaurant-style by volunteers, health and wellness services like flu shots and blood pressure checks, and seminars on everything from Medicare changes to chronic disease management, legal issues, and many others. The TriCounty Active Adult Center is a home-away-from-home for the older members of our community, helping them to escape the isolation of their homes and stay active in a caring, supportive environment.
