Mission Statement
Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley is an inclusive faith community located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (USA). The church supports a homeless ministry, cleans local parks, advocates for racial justice, serves a diverse demographic (LGBTQIA) and provides weekly programming for spiritual growth. MCCLV is a remarkable community doing essential things in the world and offers people the space to grow internally (soul-work) and externally (service work).
About This Cause
Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley has been in continuous service since 1984. MCCLV offers outreach to the Lehigh Valley through its dynamic music ministry and provides regular social justice advocacy opportunities as well as fellowship events to meet others. MCCLV's grocery store gift card program has helped numerous households in the Lehigh Valley, providing families with relief from high grocery store bills. Inspirational worship is offered every Sunday at 11:30am. An average of 100 worshipers gather every week in the sanctuary or join online. MCCLV is a unique community that strives to offer extravagant hospitality to all who walk in its doors. The church's purpose is to worship and serve God through acts of justice and compassion.
